Lorena and Ben's Brock House Wedding - Vancouver BC

The Brock House is an iconic Vancouver wedding venue, and on Ben & Lorena’s late summer wedding day, it was easy to see why! Nestled right on the eastern edge of Jericho Beach, it’s a perfect spot for an outdoor celebration that’s still in the city but has the feel of a getaway.

When we arrived, it was bustling with other vendors, including the team from Celsia Florist putting together some baroque explosions of flowers to match the warm tones of the sunset to come. The bridal parties had plenty of room in the stately building to chat, drink, reminisce and prepare for the big reveal, while guests began arriving, mingling and saying their hellos before the ceremony.

After all the family and friends, some of whom had traveled from across the world to be here, had had a chance to catch up over cocktails along the beach, guests were asked to sit facing the North Shore mountains, as the bride made her way down the aisle with her father, already fighting back some tears ( I’m pretty sure I caught a couple sneaky tears in the groom’s eye too!) They said their vows and exchanged rings perfectly timed as the sun set over the mountains across the inlet.

An amazing dinner and speeches followed, and then dancing late into the night where we learned that Lorena’s family are all amazing dancers, and that we would probably lose to any one of them in a limbo contest!
